"Black Biracial" Flickr Group

I started a “Black and Biracial” Flickr group back in 2007 (see screenshot above) to accompany my blog at the time (see screenshot below).

In 2008, when I closed down the blog, I overlooked the Flickr group and subsequently shut the associated email account. As a result, frustratingly, I am locked out (as the administrator) of my own group! It still exists though, with my photo as the group icon (also see below).

To my knowledge, I was the first to coin the term "Black Biracial" in my 2006 blog. This term characterizes the unique experience of biracial individuals who are socially identified as "Black," despite being factually biracial. It’s a weird existential situation to navigate, folks, and not much seems to have been written about this specific concept to date. That said, I have observed that some writers have begun incorporating the term “Black biracial” into their work.
